Vulnerable Women’s Project Good Practice Guide: Assisting Refugee and Asylum Seeking Women affected by Rape or Sexual Violence

This guide is dedicated for staff working in Refugee Community Organisations, Refugee Agencies and other welfare/advice organisations providing services to asylum seekers and refugee women who have been raped or exposed to sexual violence.

The first part of this guide focuses on Assessment and covers the impact of rape / sexual violence on the various aspects of a refugee woman’s life, approach to the assessment of the issue and, sources of more specialist assistance. The part two of the guide is looking at Therapeutic Casework.
