Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings:

This is a key reference for humanitarian actors within the Camp coordination and Camp management (CCCM) in emergencies, but I believe the context in the Middle-East in general and in Syria is a bit different. After 4 years of conflict in Syria, the camps are located in limited areas in different context. There are mainly shelters managers rather than camps managers, the context is different. The booklet can be contextualized accordingly with examples from the daily life of shelters managers. There are lessons learnt in each area about how to deal with problems (dealing and providing private spaces in shelters, self-assistance and social support and how to report any abuse) I believe that Working in the booklet should be contextualized to MENA and to every individual country.
