DEALS Facilitators are responsible for the safety and well-being of children and young people during their participation in the DEALS. This document highlights the main safety guidelines that should be followed.

The DEALS are a set of life skills courses aimed at enhancing resilience in children and young people. Coping skills are taught through discussions and creative activities. Themes include: Identity, dealing with emotions and conflict, peer and adult relations, and the future. Additional courses were developed for other groups within or supporting children, including parents, teachers, girls, and youth. BIG DEAL addresses youth-related themes of leadership, gender relations, and rights and responsibilities.
