Antares Podcast series on Stress Management for Emergency Responders – Part 4
Guidelines have been provided for use by organizations in establishing their own staff care system, in the interest of reducing risk and managing stress in humanitarian workers. The guidelines present 8 principles and corresponding suggested indicators with case studies for illustration. The 8 principles follow the course of a worker’s contract, and can be applied to both national and international staff, and to both office and field staff.
Can be used at the preplanning, planning, implementation, and evaluation levels in low resource settings, post conflict-settings, post-disaster and displacement settings.
