Introduction to Qualitative Interviewing

22-23 September 2011

This two day course is aimed at researchers who have little or no experience of qualitative interviewing. Everyone is welcome, regardless of research background. Previous courses have attracted researchers from the health service, clinicians and social scientists. The only requirements are an interest in qualitative interviewing and the desire to conduct better interviews. The course aims to provide hands on practical experience of different qualitative interviewing. Cost: £390

Introduction to Focus Groups

31 October 2011

This one day course is aimed at health professionals, researchers and postgraduate students who want to develop skills in organising and facilitating focus groups and in analysing focus group data. The course is suitable for those with little or no understanding of focus group method as well as those wishing to review and broaden existing skills. Cost: £195
