Zeynep has been working on the disaster risk reduction field as freelance – project based consultant since 1999.
She is Turkey focal point for Sphere Project.
She is a member of the Inter Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) Working Group as the representative of Mavi Kalem Social Assistance and Charity Association
She has been teaching the ‘Safety and Security Management for the Organizational Business Continuity Course’ at Bogazici University.
She taught the ‘Effective Communication in Emergencies Course’ at Marmara University from 2004-20010.
She has developed a broad range of public education curricula (including community volunteers, and school children), cooperative programs with grassroots, non-governmental, public and private sector organizations and action-oriented research projects.
