About me

I have been working as a GBV Coordinator for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh as part of the Rohingya refugee response since 2017. I oversee a GBV risk mitigation, prevention and response programming for Rohingya refugees and host communities including women and girls safe spaces and an emergency shelter. I am a trained social worker and mental health practitioner. My previous background in case management for survivors of gender-based violence as well in specialized on mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) with six years of experience working in psychotherapy, family therapy for domestic violence cases in Bangladesh. Also, I have several years of experience working as faculty of Psychology department in different College in Bangladesh. My work at different level has enabled me to become the person who enjoys working as part of a team, but also as an individual contributor. I am skilled in Clinical Research and research for children, parents, educators and researchers.
