I work for World Vision Australia in the Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs team in the capacity of Mental health & Psychosocial Support Coordinator. I have qualifications in both Disaster Management Psychology and Infant Mental Health. My role as MHPSS Coordinator involves providing technical input into programme design, strategic oversight of MHPSS across the WV partnership in addition to deployment to emergencies in a MHPSS Advisor capacity. Key deployments include time in conflict affected regions such as Northern Uganda, Sudan & Somalia. Recently I was contracted to UNICEF West & Central Africa to ensure the integration of MHPSS and nutrition in the Sahel crisis response.
