I am an international and commnity development worker with two decades experience in a range of disciplines including gender mainstreaming, women’s empowerment. and civil society and media development. I currently work in a torture and trauma service  alongside people with diverse genders and sexualites who have refugee or asylum seeking backgrounds. I have worked in Afghanstan, Pakistan, Indonesia, New Caledonia and Australia.  I am in the final semester of a Masters in Narrative Therapy and Community Work.  I provide psychosocial suport to  young Afghan women in exile.
