Dr.Rohit Rajendra Walwaikar, MBBS, MD  is a Senior Registrar at Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour, in India.He completed his Masters in Psychiatry in 2022, and is an early career psychiatrist. He conducted research in areas of conflict, interpersonal elements and its interplay in group dynamics. His primary fields of interest includes Neuropsychiatry , Translational Psychiatry with respect to Obsessive Compulsive disorders and Disorders due to Addictive Behaviours.  He is a tutor cum mentor for students from MBBS, MD , M.Phil Psychiatric Social Work and Post basic diploma Psychiatric Nursing. He recently participated in International Association for Suicide Prevention in developing a Delphi study by The Academic Advisory Group of the Scottish Government’s National Suicide Prevention Leadership Group. He is a member of World Psychiatric Association’s Early Career Psychiatrists section, and World Health Organisation’s Good Clinical Practice Network. Dr.Rohit is also a member of Academy of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, member in American Psychological Association’s online community “Digital Health Community of Practice”. He is a member of “Society of Behavioral Medicine” and “Interventional Behavioral Trials Network”.
