About me

I spent 25 years in research and social development projects in South East Asia addressing persons in distressing situations, especially migrants, young people and vulnerable women or minority groups. Understanding and speaking local languages, I developed an in-depth knowledge of socio-cultural and health issues and showed proven skills to analyse complex problems. I hold MA in Education sciences and MA in Languages sciences, I wrote my PhD in Cultural Psychology on Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees in camp in Thailand. I was for two years a research fellow at the Centre for Refugee Studies in Oxford. I enjoy sharing research based knowledge and he is giving lectures in Universities in France and South East Asia. My deep interest is to combine culture and psychology to understand human issues. I did extensive research on traditional healing and mental health as well as interethnic relations and provided consultancies for WHO UNICEF and UNDP. Lastly, for 7 years I was country director of a project fighting against human trafficking and providing support to victims in Lao PDR before to become free lance consultant providing services such as project evaluation, feasibility study, strategy development and baseline survey.
As an enthusiastic, dedicated and results driven, resourceful researcher, I enjoy being part of, as well as coordinating, motivating and training, successful teams to enable individuals and organisations to improve the quality of services in a participatory way. I am a creative thinker, problem-solving oriented with a cultural & gender sensitivity looking forward to make a significant contribution within a social entrepreneurship organization that aims changing situations with new ideas for new actions.
“I feel that my biggest strengths are : firstly my ability to set up research that helps to understand the problems and needs of people, secondly my experience which allows me to assess, recommend and develop activities that will improve the quality of their live, finally, my deep commitment to result oriented intervention and a strong sense of human relations. “
