I have been working with different Non-Government Organization in different positions and different Government Office. This includes Protection Officer for Field Programme at Yirgachefe Woreda under BHA-BOF with Goal Ethiopia, Psychologist with Fayyaa Integrated Development Organization (FIDO) funded by OCHA, Protection Officer for Field Programme at West Wollega Gimbi Woreda with GOAL Ethiopia funded by UNHCR, and Woreda Lobar and Social Affair office.
Throughout these projects, I have coordinated and achieved quality, timely and effective protection methodologies and integrate in affected community emergency response in protection sector. Moreover, I have performed and achieved Counseling, data collecting; need assessment, mainstreaming, case management, referral pathways, verifying and screening needs, analyzing-Evaluation, monitoring IDPs information and Returnees. Furthermore, I was providing and successfully delivered trainings on Gender Based Violence, Psychosocial First Aid and Psychosocial Support for protection stakeholders from affected Communities and capacity building for government counter parts.
So that I have good knowledge of Children and human rights protection, community-based training, humanitarian assessment, crisis management, early warning, information sharing, and protection mandates. Furthermore, I have a solid language advantage in English, Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, and good command of Computer skills.
