About me

Have been working in the MHPSS humanitarian field for 18 years now, starting with the creation of a psychological first aid unit in IFRC. Then co-founded the Centre for Humanitarian Psychology in 2000, which mission is to inform, support and train relief workers in the field of MHPSS, with an emphasis on staff care. Have also worked since 2003 as a consultant with Terre des hommes Lausanne for the evaluation of some of their psychosocial programs (Iran, SriLanka, Pakistan). I also conducted 2 studies for them, one in Bam (Iran) after the earth quake in 2003 and in Sri Lanka after the tsunami, to understand the impact of play and sports on the level of trauma and resiliency of children and their families.
I am also a trainer in all those fields of practice, either in Geneva where the foundation is based, or in the field on NGOs’ request.
