I have been involved in Child & Youth Care since 1996. Much of this time has been spent developing knowledge and experience in promoting and protecting the mental health and psychosocial wellbeing of children, their families and the communities responsible for their care, particularly within Southern & East Africa which has been continually plagued by a complexity of life challenges, including civil unrest, natural disasters and HIV & AIDS.
