On March 31st, 2022, UNICEF and WHO will jointly launch the Ensuring Quality in Psychological Support (EQUIP) platform and helpdesk.
EQUIP improves the competence of helpers providing mental health and psychosocial support services. EQUIP ensures the consistency and quality of training of training and supervision.
The EQUIP platform makes freely available tools and learning courses to support governments, training institutions, and nongovernmental organizations. EQUIP builds a stronger workforce to deliver safe and effective mental health and psychosocial support services for adults and children.
The event will take the form of a webinar, with the intention to:
• Provide an overview of EQUIP and the digital platform (resources, e-learning, assessment tools)
• Discuss the importance of EQUIP tools for enhancing training and supervision
• Learn from different country teams who have used the EQUIP digital platform and tools in the field for their trainings
