Helping Survivors Heal: Expression of Interest for Capacity Development

Helping Survivors Heal: Expression of Interest for Capacity Development

The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) in Minnesota, USA, is launching a program to strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations to deliver mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services to survivors of torture. CVT will select 12 community-based organizations from around the globe to receive capacity development services. We will work with these organizations to identify their priorities and capacity needs, and then provide tailored support to meet those needs. Training, mentoring, coaching, subgrant funding, and other types of assistance will support organizations to:

(a) deliver high-quality mental health and psychosocial support services to beneficiaries
(b) develop organizational management, institutional systems, and overall sustainability, and
(c) monitor, evaluate, and learn from their work.

If you wish to be considered, please complete the Expression of Interest Questionnaire (https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6412784/HSH-Organizations-Questionnaire )

Responses to the questionnaire must be received by Monday February 14, 2022 at 11:59 PM U.S. Central time zone (UTC -6).

A full description of the project, eligibility criteria, and the selection process is described in the project guidelines. Please feel free to share these guidelines with your networks or other organizations that may be interested in the opportunity. Therefore, you may want to prepare your responses in a separate document and paste them into the online form when you are ready to submit. A copy of the questionnaire may be downloaded from the next page to assist you in preparing your responses. Your responses will only be shared with the HSH team (CVT staff and contract consultants who work on this project), and possibly with our funder, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Any questions should be directed to the HSH management team via email: HSHadmin@cvt.org
