Hi,
I am a human rights masters student at Columbia University in New York, researching gender-based violence programmes for refugee populations in Kenya. I will use Dadaab as a case study but am also nterested in speaking to anyone with expertise in Kenya, for context.
The project will aim to focus on the best practice that has been achieved in Dadaab, as well as to find out what the current barriers or facilitators to the successful implementation of gender-based violence programmes are. I will be using the social ecological theory as the theoretical framework for this study.
Your insights and advice would be extremely valuable in order to further my research and to hopefully improve policies in the future! Please let me know if you have any contacts who may be useful to speak to or if you have expertise in any of these areas!
Many thanks in advance,
Morgan
