Hi all.
I’m a social psychology PhD student at University of Sussex, UK, researching mutual psychosocial support among refugees of the Syrian conflict, and will be carrying out field work (ethnography) in Jordan from August 2015, for eight months. The project will be examining how refugees draw upon informal social relationships to give each other support in order to cope with the practical and psychological stressors of being forcibly displaced persons. I will be using research in social psychology on the resilience provided by group membership to develop the theoretical framework for the study.
Please, your insights are highly valuable both regard the research method and the data collection logistics.
Thank You
