Peter Ventevogel and Mark Van Ommeren, who are thematic experts (focal points) for psychosocial support in the Sphere Handbook 2018 revision process, presented on the draft 2018 Sphere Handbook Revision. This consultative meeting focused on revising the integration of Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) within the Sphere Handbook.

The Sphere Handbook is the most widely used set of principles and standards for humanitarian work. It aims to produce globally applicable minimum standards for humanitarian response services. The Handbook is being revised through an intensive consultative process that will lead to a new edition to be launched in February 2018.
