Jeanne Ward and Jessica Izquierdo will be presenting the newly revised Guidelines for Integrating Gender-based Violence Interventions in Humanitarian Settings (2015).

Jeanne will provide a brief overview of the development of the revised Guidelines, with a particular focus on the recommendations in the Guidelines that link to promoting the Mental Health & Psychosocial well-being of GBV survivors and those at risk, underscoring the need for all humanitarian actors to be prepared to provide GBV-related support and referrals.

Jessica will offer a case study from Myanmar on building humanitarian commitment to and knowledge of how to engage with survivors and provide referrals, even if you are not a GBV expert.
